Bio:

Luisa Vidales Reina is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Mexico City.


A central theme in her work is the depiction of good luck charms and talismans as the materialization of individual and collective identities, while also serving the purpose of keys or portals to a specific mystical space. Botany is also a constant theme in her practice.

She has taken part in the group shows “Está bien no estar bien” by Tándem Galería (Mexico City, 2021), “Mujeres & Naturaleza” at Moloch Galería Taller as part of Coloquio de Diseño Sustentable e Innovación Social (Mexico City, 2022), “Experimental Film and Video 2022” at CICA Museum (Seoul, 2022), "Imaginarios de la Infancia" at El Galpón Coyoacán (Mexico City, 2023), “EXDECA 23” at Expo desde Casa (virtual, 2023) and “Devenir Fungi” at Moloch Galería Taller (Mexico City, 2023).

She has a BFA in Graphic Design from Universidad Iberoamericana.
